Conveniently located for our trip to the V & A. Just a few minutes walk from Tube station.
If you want luxury then the room I had wasn`t that, however, if you want reasonably priced for London and reasonable comfort then it certainly was. The most important freatures were the best ones: The bedding was well laundered and unmarked including the mattress cover and the bathroom was clean, both very important to me. Staff were pleasant and smiled. Another good point. The room was not huge but big enough and well designed to feel more spacious. I was particularly impressed with the water pressure, nearly knocked me over when I turned the shower on as it is so strong. Great shower system!
My husband and I stayed in Harrington Hall Saturday and also last night. On arrival we were greeted by very pleasant staff, very efficient. Our room although a little tired, it did have everything we needed. All in all we had a very pleasant stay. A very good location, away from the hustle and bustle of London centre, underground around the corner, a lot of restaurants to choose from. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel and our next visit, also recommend to family and fri
friendly, efficient staff, large, comfortable room. Nice quiet location with easy access to all the traditional sights of the city
It was pleasant not to be rushed out of the hotel the folowing morning they had a very laid back attitude and we were allowed to enjoy our brief stay we would visit this hotel again.
Excellent hotel, very comfortable beds and bedding, lovely bathrooms., everything spotlessly clean. Hotel staff fantastic, polite , helpful, friendly, well informed about local transport, always go the extra mile to help. Very convenient location, good village feel, lots of cafes. Decor a bit dated but they`ve got the essentials right. Will stay here again and recommend it to all our friends going to London.
Have stayed here before; perfectly good quality hotel.
Room maintanance should be looked into, staff very pleasant special gratitude to Alessandra and the housekeeping manager who tried her best to resolve problems.
Very impressed with hotel, staff and breakfast. All in all, a very good location for the above attractions. Hotel was far better than had been expected. Would definitely stay there again.
Staff helpful and friendly. Room was large and decently furnished. Bathroom was clean. Mini bar prices were rather eye-watering but it is all clearly itemised so no problem. Bed was a little too firm for me but it may suit others. Well situated for many attractions. An enjoyable stay.
Stayed two nights recently. Was ideally located for our trips to the Royal Albert Hall and Chelsea Flower show. Hotel room was good, clean and spacious, staff courteous. A few good pubs and restaurants within walking distance so only negative point was the £115 per night room rate (no breakfast).
We recently stayed at Harrington Hall booking three double rooms. Unfortunately we did not need one room as my son was unable to make the trip. As we booked through an agency, we were unable to change the booking which meant we were around £144 out of pocket. That aside, the hotel staff were exremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were a very good size and the facilities within the rooms and the hotel in general were very good. The hotel is well placed being very close to a tube station and local shops /restraunts are good. We had a young baby in a pushchair and did find it a small inconvenience lifting the push chair up/down the few stairs to gain access to the hotel. We would definately recommend the hotel to anybody considering staying there, and will not hesitate booking the hotel for further planned stays in London later this year. Thanks to all the staff involved for making our stay a good one - many thanks Terry Dolling
I stayed with my sister in law and we requested a twin room. This was the first hotel i have booked in ages which actually listened to the request and provided twin beds. Room was spacious and well equipped. Very handy for tube. Would use again.
We booked this hotel for a weekend break in London. Never stayed here before and we were pleasently surprised to be upgraded to a suite. Very nice and roomy, even had 2 TV`s so no arguments over which channel to watch. Reception and bar staff friendly and attentive. Would recommend hotel and location which is just a short walk from Gloucester Road tube station and very close to an excellent steak restaurant at the top of the street.
Friendly hotel, good location in Kensington. Rooms a little too warm as air con only gives out warm air. My only other complaint would be that the towels are very small. I would expect large fluffy towels in a 4 star hotel, i have had much bigger in the likes of Premier Inn or travel lodge.
Our stay in Harrington Hall was truly lovely and even though the air conditioning had broken, all the staff were very polite and anxious for us to be comfortable. A fan and a bucket of ice was brought to the room and we were even moved on our second night to a room where we could open the windows. Thank you to all for making our mini break so relaxing and enjoyable.
Brilliant room - staff really nice - good breakfast.
Lovely clean new hotel - great location and big room. Very good value for this part of London. Only problem was when booking in they had us as `room only` and had to show that we had paid for room and full english breakfast. At breakfast the next day they had us listed as `room only` and on check out they tried to charge us for breakfast. They were okay and didn`t charge us but it was a pain continually having to show the confirmation details. Other than that it was excellent.
From the stunning building, the warm welcome we received, and the beautiful room we were given, this was a wonderful base for our five days break in London. And the Gloucester Road tube station was literally minutes away. The only complained I ever read on reviews was about he breakfasts. I admit if you want the traditional fried english version you may be a little disappointed but there was so much more to choose from I was extremely happy with mine. I will definitely return to this hotel.
An exeptionally well located hotel within close proximity to all the major attractions & facilities of London, the rooms were well furnished and presented .The Concierge was extremely helpful when asked for assistance on theatre locations, times and sightseeing and add`s to the overal warmth in staying at the hotel. The dining room was spacious and the breakfast included options for both the continental & UK resident, the morning dining experience was to a high standard with the only exception been the unhelpful waitress who on both morning`s was extremely discourteous to all members of our party. The rooms were spacious and housekeeping was again too a high standard.Would definetely return for a future stay at the the Harrington Hall.
The headboard of the bed was hanging off the wall on arrival and the hairdryer did not work!!! However bed was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although expected the bar was very over priced!! Location is very good though.
It is a lovey hotel very clean every thing you need is in your room we stayed at a lot of hotels in london this is the best and its in a very nice area
one small negative point. room not ready when we arrived at 1600
Breakfast was manic on Sunday morning, bit better on Monday morning but even so, cold on both days.Booked a NON SMOKING room but got a room with Ash Tray and Matches!!!!!!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean hotel, in lovely condition and conveniently located close to Gloucester Rd tube station. Our only very minor complaint would have been that the food in the restaurant would have been much nicer had it been served on hot plates, but this certainly wouldn`t prevent us from booking again.
excellent choice of hotel - room was large and comfy, toiletries were fantastic, loved the slippers thank you, breakfast was scrumptious, the only fault we could make that we would have preferred fried eggs! Would happily recommend this hotel.
Excellent location and good decor. Door key system was antiquated and needed a mainenance intervention. Same happened to a colleague of mine who was also staying at the hotel. There was no record of my internet booking! This was explained by saying that they were having problems since they moved the booking function back to Spain. The inclusive breakfast was buffet style and ,as feared ,extremely poor if you wanted a traditional english breakfast-luke warm ageing scrambled eggs/limp ,low quality bacon etc. The buffet did much better at the usual cold continental option-probably because it was a spanish owned hotel with lots of continental guests. Personally I would try to book the cheapest room rate without breakfast and eat out locally.
