Could not fault he Hotel. The package with the show was excellent value and we will be booking again.

The hotel is is a great location, a stones throw from the tube station and has a welcoming reception area. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was well looked after. The bar area was nice and relaxed and there was even a little patio outside where I sat and took in the evening sun. The only downside was that the single room was full to the brim with 2 single beds, a desk, a bedside cabinet and 2 other cabinets. For a night it was fine but there was not much space. The other thing was that it was extremely warm in the room itself which meant it was not that comfortable. All in all I would stay there again but would be happier if something could be done about the heat

Quiet location yet close to underground and walking distance to kensington.Good breakfast very comfortable clean room. Pleasant efficient staff would highly recommend for london break weekend.

good value for money, friendly helpful staff who will do anything to make your stay excellent. if you are a wheelchair user please request a downstairs room, its an old building with small lifts. cooked breakfast on the small side but plenty of continental to chose from overall lovely hotel would definately use again

clean well run hotel. friendly staff, very good breakfast, , left luggage facility, our only critisism would be that our room was on the small side, but adequate for a two night stay, and they didn`t get the second lift working resulting in long wait on occassions to use other lift. Would recommend it to friends.

we had a lovely stay in this hotel, rooms slightly small but very nice and very comfortable beds. hotel in a quiet location but within a 5 min walk to Earls court underground. ideal actually. reception staff very friendly but breakfast staff could do with a smile or two !! hotel bar was fine and we enjoyed a good few drinks there before bed time. all in all a lovely hotel and would stay here again.

Our room was in the basement, at the front of the hotel and was subject to smoke from all the smokers outside. We opened the window as it was in a heatwave. The milk in the room was not UHT and was therefore bad by the time we required it in the morning. the TV was very high for such a small room and was uncomfortable to watch for very long.

Our stay at the Burns Hotel was extremely satisfactory. Staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was of the highest standard. Rooms comfortable and serviced regularly.Will definitely use this hotel again when in London.

Stayed at this hotel on 10 July. As noted by other visitors, rooms very small but adequate for myself and my friend. Beds comfy, 2 pillows too! Bathroom clean, coffee/tea maker in the room. Breakfast wonderful. Staff friendly. Picturesque street. Ideal location. 2 minutes walk from Earls Court station. Would definitely recommend as a base for a short stay in London. Would defiinitely stay again.

my wife and I stayed at the Burns Hotel June 5th 2010 and we were very impressed. The staff were most helpful, the hotel was very clean and the food excellent. Would recommend this hotel

Our room was very small, very hot and quite claustrophobic . The dining room was pleasant and the service excellent. The English breakfast was very good. We were moved to a bigger room and that was much more comfortable. I think we will use The Burns Hotel again.

Barkston Gardens is a superb location for Kensington and Earl`s Court, very close to urban amenities, but with no disturbance at night, while the Gardens present a welcome green space.

The first room I was given was far too small and not as in the booking spec. There was no beside table at all. The second room was comfortable, clean and just right except that it was airless! It was on the ground floor which was perfect but none of the windows opened for understandable safety reasons. Some air conditioning would have made it perfect. The staff were helpful and polite and it was a happy stay, thank you.

In general the hotel was fine - staff were welcoming and helpful, public areas were convenient and comfortable, the location in a leafy square was pleasant and also close to transport and museums. Unfortunately my single room up on the 4th floor was strangely hot and stuffy - strange because the weather was not particularly warm during my stay.

Easy to find, Helpful staff. Tidy clean room. just needed a bar fridge but buckets of ice worked well :)happy to recomend to anyone

Close to Earls Court underground and lots of eating places.

I would return to the Burns as it was a friendly but reasonably priced hotel in a nice quiet area.We did have a dead in house phone but any other request was quickly seen to and the breakfast was excellent .The staff were very firendly and the room staff were excellent

Bed 3 inches from wall, had to climb onto it from base, small wardrobe. We were only staying one night, had we been staying a week there was no room for clothes. Safe did not work. Good points, quiet, staff friendly, breakfast good, well located for tube and town.

Very comfortable surroundings offering a central access to shops and transport around London. Would be happy to recommend the Burns Hotel.

We had a problem with a dank smell in the room we were first given. The moment we mentioned it the staff went out of their way to move us to a better room with a minimum of fuss. Overall they were some of the most helpful people I`ve come across in any hotel. Including the maintenance gentleman who came to look at a small water problem we had (it suddenly stopped for no reason, then came good.) It`s an old heritage building, and while this looks good from the outside, the inside needs some work. But overall not a bad stay.

Very convenient to underground station, giving good access overall to central London. Breakfast appetizing and substantial, only drawback room on small side, but adequate for short breaks. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Hotel well placed for Earl`s Court Underground. Easy journey into central London. Despite being so close to Earl`s Court, the Hotel is quiet. Can thoroughly recommend this Hotel and will stay there again.

Food was inedible and the service poor

Conversion of original houses is always difficult which is why there is some sound from the room adjoining. Window will not close fully. Food is available but no restaurant - we cheerfully ate late in the small (20 persons max.) bar.

The hotel was really coveniently placed for Earl`s Court Underground Station and onward journeys. Although Earl`s Court tends to be busy the hotel was quiet and I had no problems getting a good night`s sleep. The staff were efficient and friendly, particularly Reception and bar staff. The cooked breakfast was fine- the only complaint was an extremely slow toaster! Single room was small but fine for coming back to after a busy day`s sightseeing. Good value for money generally.

We had a double room (a little on the small side), but the twin room was upgraded and was a very good size. Comfortable beds and a good location for the tube and getting into Central London. The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for the money we paid.

The hotel is well placed for getting around London. The staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable. The whole place smelt of cleanliness. Had a great stay. Well recommended.
