When the bar closed we were asked if we would like to go through to the function suite. The DJ in there was absolutley awful and when we told him he was not very nice. It was a Christmas night and he played two xmas songs the whole night. If I had paid for this event I would have been asking for a refund.

"Hotel was comfortable"
Breakfast could have been better. Reception was unmanned on arrival and we had to go looking for someone to assist us. This meant the booking in took 10mins.

"Good Value for money/ex transport/close to city"
I chose the Agenda by searching online, it fighted in with my budget & could accomodate me on my dates, transport is right outside the hotel, there is a restaurant & bar cheap, quick but nice meals, b/fast is included in room rate which makes it easier without thinking where to go. 15 mins on bus to city centre, bus no`s 12,26 31 all take you to princes st! My room was clean, big & serviced daily... I wouldn`t hesitate in recommending this hotel to stay at to anyone, the staff were most helpful also as I was on my own travelling Edinburgh. I enjoyed my stay, my only concern was the hours that their restaurant operated, none the less I didn`t starve. Rachel M- Melbourne Australia

"a reasonable hotel with everything you would need for a short stay"
food was average and could have been improved on. Service was below average and took the term "self service" to a new level.

"Good Location with easy Bus access to city, but needs a bit of TLC"
Room was clean and tidy, bathroom needed to be up-graded. Downstairs bar area was dirty, with tables left un-cleaned and general mess on the floor. Nice outdoor seating/decked area, but again was very dirty - during our stay nobody had attempted to clean the ashtrays, or clear up general litter on the floor. Staff appeared to be making the best of a bad job!

Looked good - and probably was when it was first decorated. Needs attenion to keep it looking fresh. Staff were hard to find and the fire alarm went off twice in a 12 hour period. Wouldn`t stay there again.

"Comfortable and well-positioned"
Hotel is ideal for visiting the city without the need to drive into the centre - buses frequent, cheap and handy.Staff very helpful.Somehow missed the hotel on first drive-past - and we were not the first to do that apparently.Keep eyes peeled
