The hotel was fantastic and we loved the room, however, i think to make use of the facilities on offer you need to spend more than the one night there. I would definately recommend this hotel but advise to book it for at least a couple of days.

This is a nice hotel on the river with a 10 min. walk to Vauxhall tube station. The appartments are very practical for a family of 4 with young chlidern but the rooms were too warm. Whatever we tried (opening the windows the entire day at the end of December) the rooms remainded 24 - 25C, not a comfortable temperature to go and sleep unfortunately.

My husband, 2 daughters and I stayed at this hotel for a short shopping trip recently. We had always stayed in central shopping areas (Oxford St., Knightsbridge etc.) and this was first time we stayed off the beaten track but it was well worth it for the fantastic views of landmarks we had normally missed on previous trips. The only negative side was that tube station was very awkward to connect to and we found that it only cost £15 into central Oxford St. by cab and probably would have cost more by tube - plus we had fantastic sighseeing included. Definitely would recommend this hotel to friends.

I stayed here with my wife and 2 children in a 1 bed apartment and the hotel, staff and facilities were all excellent. The river view apartment was fantastic, and my 6yr old thoroughly enjoyed watching the boats going past - when we left he said he will miss the view and that it was one of his best holidays!The service from the staff was exceptional and I am really looking forward to the next time I get to stay at the hotel. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Fantastic service, room, food a real treat to stay there. Room was very warm and slightly further than stated from the tube station but overall a fantastic choice.ould definately stay there again.

Would def go back to this hotel and use the chain again. Room was fantastic and had everything in it you could wish for, staff were really nice and helpful! We got to the hotel early and planned to leave our cases there and head into town for shopping but when got to hotel they had already done our room so we just went straight up which was a bonus. Me and my sister took our mum to london and to see a show for her birthday and she loved it.

Spotlessly clean, modern with superb facilities. Location is perfect. Having the luxury facilities with the freedom of self catering makes the break very relaxing! Highly recommended and will be returning!

Our balcony suite with views over the Thames was an absolute delight. This hotel is of the highest standard and I would highly recommend it for luxury, quality and service.

Hotel is nice and communal areas very well done. The hotel is situated across the river from the Houses of Parliament which means the view is great. It also means that it is a little far out from the centre and Vauxhall tube station is a 10 min walk away. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment but our room was just one room and there was no separate bedroom as we were led to expect! Room was really lovely though and had fully fitted kitchen with all amenities, the bathroom was lush and room service very good value with prompt delivery. Overall, a really good hotel but be prepared to travel for much of the many tourist attractions.

As my husband has told everyone over the last day, one of the best hotels he has ever stayed in. The staff, the room and service were second to none - will definately be staying again.

One night we used Room Service because we were running short of time before going to the theatre. The food only took 20 minutes to arrive and it was absolutely delicious and fabulous value for money. If I stayed at the hotel again I would order Room Service every night. Many thanks to the Chef. The breakfasts were also fantastic with lots to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

everything we could have requested was supplied, we even gained an upgrade at no cost. The suite was exemplorary. We will definately come back again.

We thought the suite provided was very comfortable accomodation and we got a warm welcome. Our stay was for 3 nights, Thu through to Sunday. Breakfast on Fri morning was excellent with waiter service - well above average service and high quality food and choice. In contrast breakfast on Sat and Sun was over subscribed - we waited in the bar both mornings for a table and served ourselves from a buffet of not too hot food. The breakfast was disappointing but the staff very profesional and did their best with the situation.

We found the hotel excellent in every regard. Very central, lovely room overlooking the Thames (we had a suite which suited our needs as we had an adult son with us) breakfast was very nice, very friendly and helpful staff. We would recommend it and hope to stay there again sometime.

The suite was very comfortable, with a great view over the river toward Tate Britian great spot to enjoy the South Bank walk from Vauxhall to Tower Bridge. The staff were exceptionally helpful, polite and provided excellent service from check in to check out.

stayed for family celebration, great spot, friendly welcome good sized accomadation. Very nice touch with a complimentary cocktail, only fault is that 4 people were booked to our room but only chairs fot two and when ordering room service 2 people had to sit on the bed, not ideal in upper end accomadation, did not spoil the weekend though!!

We took out two young grandchildren on a weekend trip to London. The children loved the one bedroom studio which was very spacious for two adults and two children. They hotel were very obliging in providing a sofa bed plus an additional bed for the second child to allow them to sleep separately. The queen size bed / bedroom and en-suite was splendid with a wet room shower for big and little people, plus a large bath with enough towels for the household cavalry. The kitchen area very well equipped with every kitchen equipment available including washing machine and dishwasher. Plasma TV in both rooms with childrens programmes. The breakfast was amazing and a delight. Room service excellent. We all want to go again!!!!!

I have stayed in many hotels ...without doubt the Plaza on the River is probably the best....beautiful suites,very helpful and attentive staff, a modern and contemporary feel.I will not stay anywhere else on my next London visit.

A lack of attention to detail really lets this place down. The lobby area/restaurant etc are all very nice. The room we were in had a few problems. The first thing we saw was a hole on the bedcover and a large stain on the carpet beside the bed. Not very nice. Many of the lightbulbs didn`t work. The TV in the lounge kept switching itself off. The TV in the bedroom had a loud background humming noise. Most of the seal was missing off the shower door and the bath panel was falling off.We don`t get away very often without the kids so we were hoping this would be something fairly special. Sorry Plaza on the River but you just didn`t deliver. We probably wouldn`t stay again.

very helpful staff

We took our 11 year old grandson to hotel for 2 night stay in half term holiday. When we booked, I just asked for accommodation in room suitable for three persons. We didn`t expect to have the luxury of a 2-room suite! It was fantastic. As soon as we left the room to go out for the day, the whole room was cleaned, tidied, and restocked with clean towels etc. The breakfasts were magnificent. The staff were friendly and helpful. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you VERY much!!

My husband and I spent a weekend here with our 2 children. We were very happy with our one bedroom suite, it was very spacious and nicely furnished and very fully equiped.The view was nice overlooking the river and the tube was a short walk away. The only thing we can moan about really was at breakfast the service was a bit slow and we had to ask for food and plates etc as the staff were not quick enough at replenishing. Saying that, breakfast was nice and the staff friendly. Would definately stop here again.

Rooms, staff and restaurant wonderful. Bit disappointed that told would get Thames River view as I had booked through Hotel Direct rather than directly with Hotel, but other than that a brilliant 40th Birthday for my partner
