The hotel was clean, the room was spacious and it was only a few minutes walk from Covent Garden, we would definitely recommend

Damp/mouldy smell in the room. Dirty marks on the bathroom tiles. I wiped them off myself. No mini fridge in room. Aircon very noisy when switched on. One of the restaurant staff was less than courteous to one of my guests. The location and the building were great. But when you are paying those prices you expect more. I was disappointed to learn that had I book the room and tickets separately it would have beem much cheaper. Lesson learned.

On arrival staff was very accommodating to upgrade as it was our celebration break & room was vertical small , however on seeing my disappointment a king size room was given which made our stay even more special.

Friendly staff..beds comfy ..food very tasty, the chef very proud of his work ,kept checking to see if needed replacing very impressed , breakfast was brilliant thank you

A most enjoyable stay from start to finish. A warm welcome on arrival. A very nice room with good sound proofing considering the busyness outside. It was my wife`s birthday, when we returned from our trip to the theatre there was a lovely desert and chocolates plus a hand written card. These little touches make all the difference and make you feel good. A very nice breakfast with a good assortment available with happy and pleasant staff. Thank you Thistle for a great stay.

Our room was almost a converted basement cupboard. It had barely any natural light,( our outlook was a brick wallOur room was little more than a basement cupboard! It had very little natural light, ( our outlook was a concrete wall with industrial machinery approx 1 metre away). It was unbearably hot even with the air conditioning and also very noisy with the sound of running water rushing through the pipe work whenever anyone in adjoining rooms used the toilet/ shower. The corridors were not cleaned during the 3 days we were there. On one day 2 trays of left over food laid in the corridor when we left in the morning and were still there when we returned in the evening.We would certainly not recommend the hotel based on our experience, it marred what was meant to be a treat.

The Thistle is let down by not enough reception staff, and those few that there are are poorly trained. Over an hour to check in because my booking could not be found was disappointing.. The fact that then 3 times in a row we were given a non functioning room key added to my chagrin. Avoid rooms on the front, as you will be kept awake until 3am by noise. Having said that, the cleanliness could not be faulted.

Breakfast in the deal would have made it perfect

Really had a lovely stay the room was clean and in good repair no faults to complain about our room was situated towards the back of the hotel so was very quiet the staff were polite and courteous did not used the restaurant but did order to our room and the food was of a high standard even if a tad expensive but the hotel is in tTheatre land area so price was expected would definitely stay here again 128077;128513;

Hotel was lovely, food great, breakfast very good. Staff very helpful and polite, the beds were very comfortable, in good position to reach everything. Highly recommended London Dungeon as well. Only negative is that drinks were really expensive, But it is London Would definitely stay again

The hotel was good, had a room at the front which was quite noisy, the room was not overly large, disappointed to find there was no body lotion in the bathroom, considering the cost of one night. Also felt breakfast should have been included. We only spent 12 hours in total in the hotel, not good value in my opinion.

Hotel was in a good central location and close to all attractions. We did not need to use a Bus or tube at all. Very quiet location

Hotel was ok, dated and needed a very good clean. Rooms were very hot and the air conditioning wasn`t working.Reception staff were pleasant and rooms were spacious. Hallways and carpets were filthy room wasn`t too bad. Short walk into Covent Garden and the theatre area

would not use again was meant to be special night for me and my wife anniversary but couldnt even get a tea in the room and no drinking water room was not confortable could not sleep stayde in a thisltle before4 but this one was very diffrent to the others
