Great hotel would recommend and staff couldn`t do enough for you especially Franky on reception and Paul the conciege. Lovely spacious room and great restaurants and bar.
good location near M&S.Many Arabs long wait for check in. However staff helpful and friendly.Next time I would have a superior room as opposed to the standard
clean and comfortable and good service - but - very noisy , children running up and down the corridors at midnight, shouting and playing. Also, very thin walls so you can hear next door sneeze. A good hotel, but bring earplugs.
Clean room, and very handy location for Oxford street
Thistle Marble Arch is very British with a cosmopolitan clienteleand well placed for shopping and sightseeing. Everything was smooth from check in to departure and the rooms and public areas are comfortable and clean. I would definiitely stay again and recommend.
I will book this hotel again.
hotel is ok. good location, reasonably clean but i don`t think it is worth what we paid. it was very busy when we arrived! a lack of stairs to the floors seems to be a big problem. if you`re on the second or third floor and you want to get down you can have a very long wait depending on what time it is. it`s not the worst but by far the best
We stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch for 5 nights. The Hotel`s situation is ideal for tourism and shopping. The staff were courteous and we got what we wanted out of our trip - peace and quiet in our room and access to all the best areas of London on the doorstep or just a short Tube ride away. London is an expensive city to visit and the hotel rates - while not exactly cheap - probably refect its situation right in the heart of town. We didn`t eat in the hoel - but that was our choice as we were out a lot. We had a great holiday and would stay in the Thistle again it is just so convenient!
My Wife and I attended your Hotel for her birthday. Your reception staff were excellent and offered us an upgrade from the basic room choice to room 531 We would have no hesitation in recommending your Hotelk to all of our friends We will come back again
Fantastic hotel, lovely staff clean rooms will be going back again and again if we ever need to stay in London again
overall, a really nice hotel, ideal location, the staff were efficient friendly and helpful.the only down side was breakfast was a bit of a free for all,,extremely busy running out of plates etc, but we will happily rebook on our next trip, thanks
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. We were given a free upgrade but the room overlooked Oxford Street and was quite noisey. The pelican crossing beeping drove us mad and woke me up the next morning! Breakfast was a sham and very stressful. they ran out of bowls, milk, fresh orange juice plates. Waited around for ages for them to be replaced - far too many guests for not enough staff it seems! At £16.95 per head for breakfast I would have expected a much better service, although the food itself was good.
Very Central and convenient, staff very attentive, general internal appearance excellent and comfortable -------- just one critisism ------- shower in our room 567, was not fixed to wall as one would expect ------ obviously a replacement one for old shower --- apparently non functioning, and still left in place.Otherwise v. good.
breakfast was not good for £40.00 for 2 adults and 1 child, plates for cooked breakfast cold. No rolls left. Cooked breakfast not very hot either. Run out of most stuff by 10.00am breakfast finihses at 10.30am. I know if was helpyour self buffett style thats the only reason i paid £40.00 . but would not do it again a waist of money . Had better when included in the price of the room. Requested quiet room seemed quiet during the day, but of a night you could near the drone of the outside fans. Alot of money at £228.00 for one night, for what you got.
Rooms nice size and comfortable but totally inadequate lift facilities for the number of guests. A considerable wait at busy periods.
Efficient check in. Food expensive, especially breakfast, but didn`t try it - several eateries very close. Room was non-smoking, but smelt heavily of stale smoke. Comfortable room - we were upgraded to an executive double for £20 a night, which was worth it for the extra space. Excellent TV, and range of channels, but no in-house film entertainment.
Hotel well situated, easy and close to tube, room comfortable, experience spoilt by shopping stolen from my room by housekeeping.
excellent location, great atmosphere, slight lack of organizational skills in dining and at porterage !!
Please can you advise as to why this amount of money was taken from my wife`s credit card.As for the hotel, we had a lovely room and a lovely evening. My reason for not being excellent was the price as I have stayedin equally good establishments for less.
I thought that the charge of £32 for four drinks in the Glen Miller Bar was very expensive. The price list was not clearly visable.
Perfect location for Oxford Street / Hyde Park. Great service with a very competive upgrade. The Executive Lounge was a bit too business like for us as a family, so did not utilise this option - shame. A childrens option was missing from the room service menu. Enjoyed the stay overall though.
I felt very comfortable staying at this fantastically located hotel, it was the first time that I had stayed alone in a hotel and had no worries. I didn`t sample the food as it was expensive.
spacious room so accessible for the shopping streets.would stay there again.did not eat at hotel so cant comment.
