staff were very friendly and helpful,rooms were exceptionally clean and had everything you would need, would be glad to come back and stay again, location was perfect for sightseeing in London, close to the tube, overall, very good experience, July 2010.

The rooms were surprisingly large, and the breakfast was wonderful! Even though this hotel is located on the western edge of Zone 2, the value it provides more than makes up for the extra one or two tube stops.

The location of the hotel is fab and the checkin staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean but only had two coffee sashe`s so couldn`t have a coffee first thing in morning. the breakfast was rather chaotic and a bit disappointed with the lack of hot choice, eg Sausage and scrambled egg!!

Breakfast is busy and the staff had trouble keeping up with demand, otherwise excellent

Hotel staff very helpful Rooms spacious and clean. Baby cot and childrens beds fitted into the large room well. 5 min walk to the tube station. would use this hotel again.

Children`s first time staying in a hotal and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

The location was perfect for visiting the west end and the staff friendly and accomodating even allowing us to eat take aways in the dining area. However the room was rather small for four (two adults and two children) and so we could not unpack ( no drawers or wardrobe.The breakfast was not at all interesting. Overall however, good.

Am used to staying in hotels worldwide so think I have high expectations, but saying that the hotel was fine for a flying visit to London which is what we used it for. Rooms clean, small, limited storage. Bathroom good. Nice cheap whetherspoon right next door, plenty of shops nearby. Breakfast was okay as it was included. Only sausages and scrambled egg as hot options but plenty of cereal, fruit juice, yogurts, toast, fresh fruit, hot drinks.Basically good value for basic stay.

Clean. good value, well positioned.

I was a very disappointed with the breakfast considering it was an official sponsor of the london marathon there was no porridge for breakfast and as many runners like to eat this before a long morning run I would have thought the management would have realised this. I found I was hungry during the race, so if I stay again I will be asking before hand if they will be serving porridge, if not I will go else where.

Could have been more choice on hot buffet breakfst

Everything went well whilst at the hotel, except the additiional blanket provided, which was badly stained, this was not reported, we just made do without it.

Rooms were nice and clean, Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Good family hotel.

Spent 3 nights here, basic, but very clean, and comfortable, very helpful staff, who go out of their way for you. We arrived very early, but they jiggled rooms about to get us in straight away, will take your luggage for you if not, so you can carry on with your day. Stayed with 2 small children and it was also comfy for them. Simple breakfast but more than enough, quite close to the tube station, within 5 mins walking distance, would definitely use again.

The Holiday Inn Express was a perfect place for a family with kids of 4 and 8 of age to stop over for a couple of days to enjoy London before going on a lang-haul holiday. The only disappointment was the much and loudly boasted breakfast... it was disasterous, as we had toast and butter, and muesli but no utensils, tea and juice but nothing to drink from etc....so a long unecessary wait for something so simple!

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and will continue to do so on my trips to London. Staff are friendly, comfortable, well kept hotel in an excellent location. Hot food has been added to the breakfast menu since my last visit and yet the price stays the same. Excellent value for money.

Clean and tidy at all times but just need a few more options in there breakfast menu.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel with parking for a short trip to London to visitthe Royal Albert Hall.We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff on reception and found the hotel exceeded expectations.The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the inclusive breakfast was adequate.It was only a short walk to thenearest tube station and a short trip to the city centre which was ideal for our needs.We would be happy to stay here again for future London visits.

This hotel is ideally located close to shops, restaurants with easy access to the city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we did have problems with the hairdryer - which poured smoke out when I turned it on and the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable causing a very poor night without much sleep.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in London. Hotel was excellent, in an ideal location, friendly staff and hotel was clean with good facilities. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel because it is a 10 minute walk to the Apollo Theatre, we had a family room which was very good, clean and with the tv for the kids, and the brewing gear for us parents it was spot on. The only slight complaint I have is that when it gets busy at breakfast, the self service area was like a minature piccadilly circus, so get down early.I will, and have already reccomended the Hammersmith Holiday Inn Express to people I know, who travel to London. Very clean, fresh room. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast as expected. Good location for Hammersmith Apollo and tube. Would stay again.
