Getting there:
Leeds City centre coach station is the nearest National express coach station to Leeds Bradford airport. You can catch a bus from the adjacent bus station to the airport.
Getting around:
Leeds has a very good system of public transport via independent bus operators. Most main routes have a 10 minute, or more frequent service during the business day. The independent bus operators are operated through MetroLine.
Tipping:
10-15% is normal in cabs and restaurants (where a service charge is usually included in your bill).

One of the best preserved monasteries in the country, Kirkstall Abbey has long been a favourite with Leeds residents. The Abbey has recently received a £5.5 million make-over from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help preserve this iconic landmark in Leeds. Kirkstall Abbey now has a brand new visitor centre. This includes interactive displays, reconstructions and trained staff on hand to provide a wealth of information about life for the monks of Kirkstall Abbey.
