We did use the pool and gym facilities which were also very good but there are children`s swimming lessons every evening which we were not warned about. Parents also sit round the pool watching which is not good for us older ladies with non perfect figures having to parade in front of fully clothed males. The jacuzzi is available but you had to walk round the pool to get to it because of the way the pool had been divided with no advice to take a towel to the pool with you for modesty. There were also large numbers of children in the changing rooms and no cubicles so impossible to keep covered up in front of young boys. I think warning residents of lesson times would help but apparently it`s every evening until 7 any way. Zumba class was good fun though so would reccommend trying the classes. All included in the 8 pounds.

Lovely hotel. Very quiet location although very handy for Kensington High Street tube which makes it very easy to get around. Very efficient and polite staff. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to visit the swimming pool. Breakfast great plenty if choice.

We were met at the door and our cases taken up the steps. The staff were extremely helpful regarding the `third` bed in our room. We had booked 2 rooms and 1 was a triple bed and when we went to our room it was a put you up. As we were 3 adults we asked if anything could be done and it was and very quickly. Within 30 minutes we had a proper bed in the room. Very comfortable stay and the best nights sleep I`d had in a long time. We had the breakfast and that was very nice and we could have as much as we liked, it included cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, toast, breads and the The full monty breakfast, even with fried bread. A fabulous theatre break with very good value for money. We will be back!

Great room great hotel great breakfast but was very disappointed that you could not supply wifi in the lounge at meant to people straying at your hotel. A stay is e pendulum e enough and today`s hotels ha e to offer these facilities as part of the moving forward. I would not recommend your hotel because if this. Today we all need to be able to get in touch with our families when we are away from home.

Lovely hotel, single room booked, quite small but very clean and well presented. Staff at reception etc great.

Downstairs was beautiful but bedrooms were awful. Booked a triple room to be told on arrival they didn`t have triples, ended up with a camp bed as the 3rd bed. 1st room smelt damp, so complained and got moved to exactly the same type of room. Poor lighting in room, bathroom very compact and enamel coming off the bath. Was certainly not suitable for 3 adults due to size. No where near the standard of other London hotels I`vd stayed in. Would not return or recommend.

Requested a room change as too small was not upgraded but put in a different layout room. Had to requested room to be cleaned on the second day.

Just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, very professionally run hotel, main areas very spacious and modern. Breakfast was fabulous so much choice, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean in all areas, We had superior twin room, not very big and only one chair. Shower great.

As it was our silver wedding anniversary celebrations. The hotel gave us a complimentary room upgrade, which was very spacious.The hotels location was brilliant, with easy access to main tourist areas. The hotel itself was to a high standard, clean,with helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful, with a variety of options. I would recommend this hotel and can`t wait to return myself on my next visit to London.

Hotel was average. Room was adequate a bit smaller than expected. Very disappointed to be informed that there was a fee of £8 to use the pool in the morning for a 20 min swim. Have never come across this in any hotel I have ever stayed in. Also some confusion with request for a toothbrush/paste and was actually asked to show the packaging when I said there was no toothpaste in the package. Felt rather humilated/insulted to be question over a tiny package which was worth 10p. Dont think we would stay in this hotel again.

Courteous, quiet and clean, ideal spot for a visit to Albert Hall and the bug museums. Easy transport links via bus or tube.

This hotel was good value for money based on its position. The bedroom was quite cold. Bathroom was very good nice shower etc but the towels smelt of food smells and needed replacing. Bar was lovely and staff exceedingly good

The room was comfortable, the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. the surroundings were pleasant and the food was very good. The pool was lovely. My only criticism is that a resented having to pay £8.00 to use the pool, I would expect that if a hotel has a pool that it be a free facility for hotel guests.

Hotel room was very small, no bedside cabinet on one side and a very small gap to access the other side of the bed. No biscuits to have with tea! Towels well worn and hard. No free Wi Fi - very poor even the chain hotels give free Wi-Fi. What must all the foreign visitors to central London think of that.

Very poor elevator service. An elevator actually broke down when I was inside fortunately on the ground floor. Room service and food and room service I found excellent.

Room clean and tidy but a little sparse no booklet to explain how to work TV or further information about local area

A "Standard" twin room had beds so close to the wall you had to walk sideways. An "Executive" was better though still not generous.

Had booked single room but was given twin room which was good. The room was excellent though a bit on the small side especially for a twin. Would have preferred a bit more milk for tea and coffee and some biscuits would have been nice.

We booked an executive double room, this it was not. In any other hotel (and I have been in a lot) this would be a very basic double. The "bathroom " was no bigger than a cupboard and the door to the bathroom was barely eighteen inches from the bed. The door was a sliding door which gives some idea of how tight it was. The whole room was tight and it took a lot longer for two of us to get ready to go to the show. I would use this hotel again but it would have to be a bigger room with a bath. But that would also depend on what they charge for it. The hotel should review it`s room descriptions and be a bit more honest. On the upside the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were very good as were the other facilities.

A very well run high volume hotel in a convenient location . Excellent staff, food more than acceptable. Rooms are clean, well equipped but small for 2 large adults. The loo would not suit a rugby world cup 2nd row forward who could have difficulty fitting their shoulders into the alcove where it is located.

Have stayed at this hotel before and the rooms were excellent. There was 3 of us staying in a room and they had squeezed a single bed in a small twin room - would have liked a bit more room quiet basic but ok for 1 night.

Very small room, the bed linen was dirty so we had to change late at night to a room 5 floors higher, but it was an upgraded room, of what would be expected when booking an executive double originally, WiFi not free, very disappointed with all aspects apart from location.

the hotel was very nice, however twice on the morning of the 20th our door was opened twice and then closed very quickly, the first time it woke us both up.

Surprised one had to pay extra to use pool facilities.Is this a squeeze as much dosh as u can out of customer because it is a London hotel.room mediocre ,staff very helpful .breakfast good.

Top hotel ? You pay for wifi and sleep in a very small room that is very dark with a view of the air con units, won`t be back here !

Arrived 2.40 had to wait until 16.30 to get into the room put our itinerary right out ,we were only down from Scotland for one night.

Kensington Close is a fabulous hotel. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would certainly use the hotel again.

I booked for a triple room, they called it a "triple deluxe room" but when we got there they had squeezed in a camp bed for one of us to sleep on!! There wasn`t room to get past it to get to the bathroom so you had to crawl across it on your knees. Not at all what someone would expect for £300 even in London. We won`t be back.
