This hotel has too many rooms, too many people staying/using facilities hence why reception is so under pressure and thus poor service. On a positive note food excellent in restaurant and asian food at kudos also excellent. Very good wine list also. Staff at pool/leisure centre excellent also :-)

The staff were very rude and never smiled, the bar area was filthy and wasn`t cleaned all day or night The service in the restaurant was very poor and I would not. stay here again

While the over all hotel was very nice the resurant was another story. It does not seem able to cope with the amount of people that was staying there. The size of the resturant appears to be to small and they could do with more staff to cope with the demand.

The hotel and staff are lovely, and the facilities are excellent. Thanks to booking.com we got a great deal. However we did not get a good night sleep, as on both nights, the noise on our corridor was horrendous, as teenagers screamed, shouted, sang and carrier on. Other residents were obviously disturbed to as we hear a man shouting, shut the xxxx up.

Was disappointed at wait I had to check in over 7 mins ,then to compound this I waited 35 mins for a remote to my room for television .thankfully the friendly and efficient staff in the morning made up for this

Arrived at 1pm and room was ready. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suit which was a fabulous surprise. The staff were very helpfull and we used the pool facilities which was very relaxing. We had just an overnight stay and would definitely return and highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely wedding anniversary!

I found my stay at the Clarion hotel pleasant. Some of the staff were very friendly & polite. What I found disappointing is that you have pay extra for parking your car in the hotel car park in my opinion you pay enough to stay in the hotel & the parking should be free. It`s the first hotel I stayed in where I had pay for parking. Another issue I had was the fact that I couldn`t get my breakfast room serviced.

Breakfast in morning a bit chaotic. Carpet area surrounding tables was littered with food debris scrambled egg ect . Luggage which we left with reception because our room was not ready was left where we deposited it and not put into a secure place.

(1) Could have provided more entertainment for kids (2) Charge 4euro per day for car parking while other Hotel have free parking (3) No entertainment at the weekends

I arrived for a 3 night business trip. I had a clean, nice room. The breakfast buffet for very nice, I didn`t have dinner at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and always pleasant. I enjoyed the use of the pool and leisure facilities and this was the reason for booking this hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would return and recommend it.

I stayed with my partner for two nights and my only complaint would be that a cooked breakfast was ?12 and if you only wanted toast it was ?5. This seems a bit silly to me. our room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable, it was a nice surprise to have a balcony even though the view from it wasnt great. The hotel should also look it either making their walls thicker or lower the tone on the phones, as people in the neighbouring room thought it would be great to use their phone alot at 4-6am in the morning which was very disturbing. Inspite of this I have enjoyed my stay and I`m sure I will be back soon.

Lovely hotel for a good price booked through hotel direct. Only thing it could have been quicker checking in and out.

The hotel is very family orientated. Relaxed atmosphere, Good leisure facilities. Brilliant breakfast even though we queued for 20 mins because of the numbers staying.

I have to compliment Marta who checked us in on arrival, her manner and politeness was exceptional. Only quib I would have, was that towels be kept in press near bathroom and not under the TV press!!! Overall, excellent stay.

This hotel would have received an excellent rating for the two nights we stayed, however the weather had been very hot and the rooms were over 24 degrees with one small window as fresh air. We mentioned to front desk the rooms were hot and were offered a desk fan and were told the hotel had no air-conditioning and were very apologetic. My 7yr old was sticking to the sheets overnight and a fan did not sure the purpose. Lack of sleep over the two nights made it very difficult to take our `family break` seriously.

Average hotel. Reception staff really need improving. Cleaning staff walked in our room at 8 a.m. and woke us! But rooms are clean. Was during the hot weather and the fan in the room just didn`t cut it. They need air conditioning.

Our overall stay was very good , parking was good, reception was quick and efficient. The room we stayed was just ok. It had a good fan which was needed. The bathroom was ok but the extractor fan was`nt working.Also the sheets were not that clean ,pillowcases had blood stains on them! The bar down stairs is excellent we were served by illaus who made perfect cocktails and our meal was served by him quick and faultless. overall keep up the good work in the bar and restaurant and improve quality upstairs but would stay here again.

The staff at the Clarion Liffey were helpful and pleasant, the rooms were clean and nicely kept, breakfast included really good value.

Great service friendly and informative staff. Will stay again when next in Dublin.

stayed here on fri 18 may,my 3rd stay here,as usual the staff were v friendly at reception ,everything done v effeciently and with a smile,room lovely,food and drinks excellent and overall i enjoyed my short visit.will be back and would recommend it to everyone.thanks!!!!!

Cooked Breakfast lukewarm and a little hard but otherwise very good.

was ok regardless it was three adult men two had to share a bed, i innitially thought we could have three singles

we filled in the comment card on departure. not surprised that hotel staff didnt read it. very bad experience. dont stay in this hotel on a saturday night.

Every morning I was asked if I had paid for breakfast despite having paid an extra fee for seven nights breakfast, and zero variety in what is offered. Parking is not included in costs even though there is nowhere else to park. Rooms have no functioning in room movies. Telephones do not work. Reception staff more interested in what they can charge you rather than your problems and are at times ignorant. Bed wasn`t a double for a double room, was two singles together. Reluctant to stay at any Clarion in the future if this is the experience I will get

Really disappointed . My 17 year old daughter and I spent the 17th March there. only movies available were adult movies

Food was absolutely shocking, bed mattress was puffy on one side and flat on other, room was freezing, staff were clueless and the tv in room didnt work, won`t be staying again

Stay would have been better if staff were more consistent with their information!! Signs advertising special offer that night were still outside the restaurant on Sunday morning at 10.30 when the offer was not available - and in fact the restaurant was closed on a Sunday evening! Hotel comfortable, although bedroom was cold, even with radiator turned full on. Food good in Kudos restaurant.
