We had a suite room which was very comfortable, fluffy robes, good standard of housekeeping. Decor a bit 1990`s in places but can easily be forgiven. Great staff - everyone we encountered was top notch professional & made my husband`s 50th birthday really special. Nice bar area. Great restaurants within walking distance & 10% food discount available a some of them
Room supposed to be available from 2pm, turned up at 2:15 and still had wait 30mins, insisted on taking a £30 deposit credit card payment even though we had already paid in full. Room was very dated and tiny...no way this was 4 star!
Nice cozy hotel everything easily accessible.
super hotel would stay there again
Short walk from hotel to theatre. Hotel is away from busy roads with many restaurants along the way. Hotel is quiet. Polite friendly staff. All facilities are excellent. Breakfast highly recommended.
Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Executive room disappointing, plugs inaccessible, no mirror close to dry hair, no bedside tables.
Lovely hotel set back from main road. Staff friendly and helpful.
Really friendly service comforable room loveley lication snd breakfast. Woud come again thank you Mr mrs McGloin
The hotel was lovely very comfortable and cosy room. Our only disappointment was bar prices, although my husband expects to pay London prices for bottle beer we were shocked to have to pay £7.00 for a Martini Rosso and then £3.00 for a top up of Lemonade, this is exorbitant and spoilt what had been a lovely day and evening at the show. We would stay there again but probably not have drinks.
we had a very pleasant stay, found staff very helpful and would definitely return again. I would give it 5 stars
Great location , very friendly staff, comfy bed and loved small bar and lounge area in reception area
A lovely hotel, beautifully presented. My daughter and I shared the junior double room, comfortable bed, had everything we needed. The lounge area was very cosy, perfect for a quiet drink. Excellent location for theatres and shopping. Will definately return.
Thought I had picked a nice classy hotel in West End but thus was nothing like what I thought sadly The hotel room was basic and dated and in a scruffy side street with bags of litter Outside it for the stay and not in West End like I thought.so I was really disappointed in the package and the price I paid I could of gone abroad for a fortnight with my partner so not happy at all
A lovely hotel well located but the stars of the show are the staff, nothing is too much trouble
Hotel staff great but hotel it self is old and run down carpets are thread bare. Etc great situated with Oxford Street 5 mins away x
We booked this London break alongside my parents who also booked a theatre and stay with another company. They stayed in the Melia White which is a 4* Hotel and it was amazing! The facilities that they were so beautiful including a gym, big resturant area, a bar. The guests and staff were so polite to them and treated them so well. The room was spotless and looked very posh. The Rathbone unfortunatly didnt live up to a 4* hotel rating, after seeing what my parents had got for thier money, we expected the same. The room was very dated and old fashioned. Small room, with little facitilies. No gym area. No where in the bar area to sit as it was so small. We just wasnt very pleased at all. We book with hotels direct on alot of occasions and this was by far the worst. Especially after paying so much money, we expected the same treatment and hotel standard as my parents recieved. We are not very happy as it played abit of a downer on our weekend after watching such an amazing show.
Excellent Hotel, the hotel is nice and close to the theatre so getting there was simple. The hotel itself is a beautiful hotel with freindly, polite staff. The room we had was a nice size and very quiet through the night even though some reports said about noise problems they had,but then our room was at the back of the hotel.Again this was part of the deal for my wifes 50th Birthday and she really enjoyed both the show and the hotel.I would definetly stay here again and would recommend it to friends and others.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The location of the hotel was good, only a short distance to walk from Euston Station and to the theatre. All the staff we met were helpful and very pleasant from reception to the dining room staff. We decided to have a full English breakfast and it exceeded our expectations. There was plenty to eat, a very good variety and it was well-presented. We would certainly stay at the Rathbone Hotel again if we have another theatre break.
Amazing Art Deco interior
Nothing too much trouble - we will want to stay again preferably on first floor
Really helpful staff. Clean and fab location
The hotel, the room, the staff all fantastic. You must have the breakfast, outstanding, I had the vegetarian cooked and continental it was one of the best I have had. The decor throughout is to a high standard and although the hotel is not small, it has a very intimate feel. Really made our stay special. .
Arrived at the hotel very early and the reception team looked after our luggage while we went to explore. Nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous stay Faultless service. Would definitely stay again.
In our room the toilet flush lever was very loose which hindered the flushing mechanism, and one of the light fittings was also loose and nearly coming off the mirror. We were not asked if we would like a paper the following morning. The duvet hardly covered the width of the bed.
We stayed for 3 nights at The Rathbone and it was the base for a wonderful London break. We will definitely stay there again when we visit London. It is very close to Oxford Street and within easy walking distance to the theatres. In the immediate vicinity there are ample bars and restaurants, and Charles Worthington`s hair salon is just around the corner. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. I can`t fault The Rathbone and it`s fully deserving of its 4 star rating.
Just had a two night stay at the Rathbone Hotel with my daughter. The hotel is lovely staff very friendly rooms clean would definitely recommend to others. Location is good for sightseeing.
The hotel was excellent. The rooms are of a good size with all amenities. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.
Very nice hotel and pleasant staff would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
No free wi-fi!
We were welcomed to this hotel. Hospitality was excellent. The Breakfast was delicious and a wide choice. We had a single room and double and they were both lovely and clean and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located with restaurants, cafes, shops and theatres within walking distance. Really enjoyed out stay at the Rathbone and will definitely stay there again.
