Room was spacious, light clean and comfortable. Great location.
I stayed here with my nephew and his girlfriend who flew in from NZ. We were all impressed with the standard and cleanliness of the rooms and helpfulness of the reception staff. We were glad of the coffee machine and fresh water on each floor. We recommend you and will stay in the future, hope we don`t have to wait too long!!
would always stay at a club quaters when there is one available
I was pleased with the hotel, I was impressed by the very quick check in...bathroom was small but the shower was of a very good standard indeed! I would come back in the near future....
Nice and clean, good sized room (booked a twin) with air conditioning which was great. Complimentary coffee and water was a bonus. Nice walk-in shower, makes a change not to have the shower over the bath. Did not take breakfast as too pricey so did not see the restaurant. Room not particularly cheap but could have got a lower price if booked earlier. Location a bit far out but depends what you are doing in London. Great for Tower of London area. Reception helpful and left luggage facility very much appreciated. Would stay again on future visits.
bar closed too early and tea and coffee making facilities poor
Wonderfully quiet room (220) overlooking gardens. Very helpful staff - particularly when in a mad dash I forgot to check out properly. The whole set up felt very well run and secure - important for women travelling alone. Would definitely stay again and will look out for other hotels in the same group when travelling for repeat experience.
This was an excellent hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are two tube stations close by so travel was easy for getting around London. one down side is, as this hotel is in the financial district and therefore not many restraunts or pubs open on a saturday evening so you either have to eat in the hotel or travel a bit to fine some where to eat. Having said that my father and I am really enjoyed our stay and would go back to this hotel again
very nice hotel and location - nice dinner
Lack of pillows in room, asked at reception for addtional pillows and was direct to the Guest Services cupboard on my floor and told to help myself. Unfortunately checked on all 7 floors and no addtional pillows available. Beds need a duvet instead of a sheet and a rather heavy bedspread.
Club Q was amazing, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfortable, the tv had sky, and it was a perfect location. There is an ipod dock too so remember to bring your ipods !!
aircon didnt seem to work
The room was clean and very nice, staff were very friendly, and the small but well maintained fitness studio was a lovely surprise. I would make it a first port of call for future visits.
overall very pleased
Good value for good standard of accomodation. Nice decor. Nice part of town. Borough Market across the Bridge is good foor foodies, then you can walk up to the Tate Modern, on to the Embankment for a glass of wine at Gordons. I would consider staying again.
Bathroom in room we stayed in, 610, needed some attention. Loo seat was broken in as much as hinge was loose and locator spigot was broken off on one side. The shower needed some attention as all that managed to flow from the shower was a slow trickle. Good helpful reception. Overall good except for the above niggles
We arrived at Club Q on a Saturday night and there were no bars or restaurants open nearby after 7.30pm , not even a coffee shop! Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable and central to where we wanted to go. It was good value for money but perhaps a payable mini bar in the foyer would be good.
Disappointed on the car park details as advertised to use the local NCP & the website states it is £5 for overnight park at the weekend but this is only applicabe if you leave before 09:00 so I ended up paying more than £20. Rooms were advertised with king size beds & first I was given a room with twin beds & then got moved to the top floor where the bed was only a double & room was cramped as it felt like a loft conversion.
Rooms clean and tidy, clean bathroom and good beds. Free wi-fi, with surprisingly good speeds.
Computer check-in: impersonal. When it failed, the receptionist said we had put in the wrong reservation number (which was on our confirmation e.mail!). She checked her list and put in a different one. She was quite impatient and rather rude. This was also the case when we couldn`t get the lift to work. The refreshments in the room consisted of 2 teabags, 2 coffee and 2 milk sachets, which meant that we could either have a drink on arival or the next morning - not both! We also had to request an extra pillow, whereas most hotels have spares in the room. The shower was luke-warm and noisy and the area between the bed and the window wall had not been hoovered for some time, I think. All in all, a disappointing first impression of Club Quarters.
Very pleasant and helpful on arrival. Shower room a little too cramped, walkin shower was great it just didn`t leave much room for basin and toilet.
Really enjoyed my stay as it is an ideal location in the City for me.
The receptionist helped us with the self-service as soon as we entered the door. The room was a little small but very clean and we had a view of The Gerkin and the Lloyds of London buildings. As other reviews stated the City area is pretty much shut at the weekend (unless you know where to go) but you only need to cross London Bridge to find somewhere to eat or drink.
Good location, and comfortable enough. Some irritations that could be sorted, if anyone bothers to do so. Only one side of the bed had a bedside table/cabinet. Whilst there were 2 cups, there was only one glass. Bath towels were tiny. Duvet too big - unless precisely centered, its own weight would drag it off the bed in the night. Not enough coffee, tea etc. Unusual for a hotel not to have its own restaurant or bar. Breakfast in Gaucho restaurant scary: good food, but not cheap as an add-on to the main bill: decor a bit staggering for first thing: all black and animal hides, it was like eating in a herd of dead cattle! Also, not partial to loud piped music at breakfast. Overall, friendly helpful staff - the few that we saw in a hotel that seemed to be largely automated. It would have been nice to have a hotel bar where one could unwind peacefully over a nightcap: retiring to one`s room and having to share the single glass not so good.
Not very welcoming. No `hello` Then was told I hadn`t paid before the member of staff checked again and realised I had, no apology and no `have a nice stay`. Quite a nice room, certainly had everything you would need. There`s no resturant within the hotel though it`s all room service. Probably won`t bother going back.
comfortable, well equiped, clean excellent staff really enjoyed will definitely be back
very helpful staff, good clean room with good facilities although the shower was a bit small
