Breakfast and breakfast facilities poor. One would expect more than cornflakes and toast for £6.50. Room clean and tidy. shower facilities etc. adequate.
friendly staff,clean and very comfortable
Ticked all our boxes - cheap, comfortable, convenient for train for Twickenham and tube for Oxford Street
The room was very clean and spacious. The noise from the road outside the window was loud but i can forgive that. A very pleasant stay, thank you.
We were in room 031 which unfortunately was around the back on the ground floor, right by the access ramp for hotel deliveries, that subsequently meant that we were woken up at 5am by delivery cages coming in up and down the ramps for about 45 minutes, annoying to say the least. Apart from the that the hotel is in a pretty good location about a ten minute walk from Vauxhall tube.
We (two adults & two kids, 8 and 12) stayed here for four nights at Easter. On arrival the rooms were lovely, two single beds and bunk beds. The room was well equipped with tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities, TV, hairdryer etc. The room had an air conditioner/heater which was great. It was cold while we were in London but we were able to regulate the room temp ourselves. We had the option to book room only but we paid extra for a Continental Breakfast which was worth the extra money. It could be busy at breakfast time but there was always plenty of food and the staff were very friendly. Location wise, the train station was only about 10 mins walk away. We didnt spot many local restaurants but then again we didnt look very far and normally had dinner before we returned to the hotel anyway. Overall we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was, we would stay there again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
Breakfast could be improved on regarding choice and organisation/layout otherwise a pleasant stay just a short walk from Vauxhall tube station.
Great place to stay in vauxhall, however they charge £5.00 p/h for wifi, which is unbelievable. Also the room service cleaning is awful. In fact they changed the towels and nothing more, beds unmade and rubbish bins full. Not good!
Very clean and tidy and staff really pleasant
The only thing wrong was the sound proofing for windows could be a lot better in room 310, but apart from that very enjoyable. If you have a disablilty they have a couple of car spaces which concidering parking is premium was excellent. access around hotel was good. However for me it was a little bit far from main attractions. But i would recomend this hotel for short breaks.
fantastic location, could hardly fault the hotel apart from a few marks on ncarpet and wall but a good place to stay and ideal location for london eye, westminster, vauxhall station and victoria
Convenient location and only 5 mins walk from Vauxhall Tube Station
We found it very difficult to get a room for 5 -2 adults and 3 children so this was perfect.Breakfast was perfect and room was fine .We were gone the whole time. The only criticism I would have was on the level of cleanliness- The telephone was filthy and around the top of the shower curtain was too. Also the Bathroom was very tidy for a larger person. It was exactly what I expected for a 3 star (apart from phone and shower top) so good for 3 stars.
The hotel was clean and fine, our only problem was the other guests a group of spainish youths I believe, who were put in the room next us.They slammed doors , shouted and were generally loud, so why put them next to a family. Not very thoughtful
Easily accessible by tube from Euston ~ Victoria Line to Vauxhall and 5-10 mins walk. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly and helpful.
would of like to seen more organisation at breakfast. found the bedroom somewhat cramped. very clean and staff were ok when we saw them which wasnt that often
Room for 4 clean and comfortable. Breakfast was limited but adequate
Three of us were in a family room which consisted of a single bed, double bed, and two bunk beds. The room would have been pretty crowded if filled to capacity i.e. mother, father, teenager and two children.
We stayed here for 1 night on 24th October. The rooms were clean tidy and functional, in many respects this is better than getting a second rate room in a more expensive hotel. The hotel also has some onsight parking and is near to the Vauxhall tube station.
Very clean room and bathroom. 5 min walk from tube. Good pub with excellent food opposite
Clean and comfortable. But on arrival we had to wait over 10 minutes to check in, as there was a large group before us that needed to pay ect, which was fine. But when my husband and I got to the desk we were passed over, rather rudely by the young lady behind the desk. As we weren`t with the large group and had already paid. So had to wait a bit longer. Stay was fine. When checking out the same lady was behind the desk again and didn`t even ask if we`d had a good stay or say thank you as we handed in our room key!!!
I stayed here 23rd august 2011 for 2 nights, great hotel, newly refurbished, would recommend. Only 10 minute walk to Vauxhall tube station
A comfortable hotel with large and well equipped rooms. Only 10 minutes walk to the victoria line underground station making this a good base for sight seeing London
Quiet location .Very good overall
The Comfort Inn, Vauxhall was really clean, with comfortable beds it was everything that I wanted for an overnight stay in London.
This is a great hotel if you are staying in London with a family - we had a double room and a family room both were clean and comfortable. I think the most striking thing was how quiet the hotel was considering its location on quite a busy road (hard not to be in London!) I have stayed in many varied London hotels and this was perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and the staff were helpful. Checking in was quick and easy so absolutely perfect when you have three tired teenagers waiting to get to their room! Would recommend to anyone needing a hotel with family rooms.
We found the Comfort Inn, as its name suggests....comfortable.Within walking distance to Vauxhall Station, where it is easy to catch, train, tube or bus to the heart of London. Staff very friendly and helpful.
