Helpful staff , good location, clean and comfortable bedrooms

Very welcoming, lovely communal areas and the room was very clean and comfortable. They also went the extra mile by meeting my request for rooms close to each other for us and our friends and they also recognised my husband`s birthday. They couldn`t have done more.

Slow reception, slow checking in and checking out,room was ok but non existent wifi,and other guests had no consideration for other hotel user,rude and noisy (not hotels fault I know.) Excellent location for shopping and easy to get too from either tube stations.

Even after requesting a nice room for a special occasion my wife`s birthday we were put in to a room a the vey back of the hotel up two flights of stairs and then down two flights of stairs No face cloths or bath robes and long black hairs in the bed. I complained after being locked out of the room as the card key didn`t work and the bath robes were delivered to next door. The late night sandwich was terrible and the fries were barely cooked I could go on on but will stop with a thank you for the card "Happy Anerversary" to Carol spelt wrong It`s the thought that counts

As usual the Thistle Holborn was very good. It is very conveniently situated and the room was well decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive and helpful. The only difficulty was that both lifts were out of service when I arrived . As my room was on the second floor this was not an overwhelming problem but I am getting a bit old to easily manage two flights of stairs with an overnight bag. I suffered no ill effects however and overall it was a very good stay

Recommended. Walking distance from Soho, rooms are spacious, clean and modern. I didn`t have the breakfast myself but my mother said it was good.

Great hotel stay ten minutes walk from West end, Covent Gardens, room was very comfortable and clean, staff very helpful will definitely book with them again.

Great hotel and ideally placed especially if your going to a show as it is near to the theatre district and within easy reach of the underground. The hotel was lovely and quiet at night and the rooms are spacious and decorated to a very high standard with a lovely modern bathroom with a great shower! Ample storage and plugs and the bar area was also really nice. Spotless throughout with lovely helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Spent the night at this hotel while in London for a show, Very well situated for our needs, clean and tidy relaxed environment, Suburb staff team, smart friendly and helpful to the extreme.

Can`t really find fault with this hotel. We were given a free upgrade, room was large, immaculately clean and stylish. Reception was friendly and efficient. Bar areas were great, albeit somewhat quiet. Would thoroughly recommend.

On arrival lovely.greeying from reception staff. Room spotlessly clean... although air conditioning didn`t work. Once mentioned to staff they moved us to another room.

Brilliant location for all popular attractions.Lovely breakfast with excellent service and very welcoming too. Noisy air conditioning in room 127 was a little annoying but otherwise room was fine.

Loved the location. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Only one person was on the bar so he was quite pressured. Food was good when it arrived, but one lunch was missing. The reason for staying was for the family of 11 to get together to celebrate our dad`s 90th birthday - unfortunately the bar staff refused to allow us to cut his cake in the bar, so we had to squash into one of the rooms. Otherwise a lovely hotel

With a central location and wonderful hotel facilities and extremely friendly staff, the question is, what more would you want from a city break? Nothing is the answer. We were celebrating my partners 30th birthday and they were extremely personable and couldn`t do more for you. Thank you for an enjoyable stay and we would definitely return.

Reception friendly, staff very helpful. Room ready 2 hours earlier than usual check-in time, so able to offload bags, etc. Deluxe Double room very comfortable, quiet, no frills, but spotlessly clean, good shower/bath, all essentials provided. Paid extra for breakfast, very good value and quality at £12 extra p.p. Good position with 15 - 20 minute walk to Oxford Street, Covent Garden etc., convenient bus stop right outside.

The hotel was faultless even the whirl wind Portuguese maître di in the breakfast room. Every one made this a really enjoyable 80th Birthday right down to the Bottle of wine and chocolates in the room.

The hotel is well placed. The staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely. My only negative comment is that our room was very small - there was only just sufficient room to walk around the bed - and the beds were pushed together! I paid for a `deluxe twin`, and could not find anything deluxe about the room.

The staff when we arrived were friendly,and welcoming. Having never done this before I would defiantly advise any and all my friends that are thinking of doing the same to use this hotel. We will most assuredly be using it again too. We would especially like to praise Maria the receptionist as she was the first person in the hotel we met and it was her that put us at ease and explained everything we needed to know, also a big thank you to Bogi who at dinner was very attentive and curtious. We will advise any of our friends to use this hotel, it had all you`d expect for a pleasant stay. Thank you to all at the Thistle. See you again.

This hotel is very well situated for Covent Garden and most other major sites in London. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby and numerous takeaways and pubs. The hotel is pleasant but my personal view is that it is a little expensive. The lifts are small and not too reliable and the bar was dear....£17 for 2 glasses of wine! The staff, though, were very pleasant and helpful. If I could get a better price I would go back.

Good choice and so convenient to theatres and the British Museum round the corner which is a must. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade to a superior room and also a birthday surprise of chocolates and card from the hotel team. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel in a lovely part of town and Although central rooms were Very quiet and relaxing.

The room was a bit small but had all that we needed. The extras may my wife`s birthday, the cake and card were a lovely touch.

Very good hotel. Spotless room and bathroom. Good service at reception and very friendly. 10 minutes walk from a lot of theatres and sights. Come to London every year for a few days and for the price paid and location the best so far. Will use again next year.

Hotel very clean and tidy, room was well kept, bed very comfortable, ( not like some other hotels) ,, Staff very polite and helpful, would stay here again next time we come to London.

Location, facilities & staff excellent

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. They accommodated all of our needs, were friendly and the service was brilliant. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.
