Had to wait two hours for our room to be ready apart from that it was lovely

Lobby was a construction site, five staff at reception desk for check in but only two customers being served, one receptionist casually telling anecdotes to customer he was serving despite queue, receptionist started to serve us then started serving someone else and asked us to wait, receptionist finally served us but had trouble using computer system, got given wrong room and had to return to reception to get it sorted. Check out was also slow and unprofessional. Very happy with the room apart from the shard of glass found on the bathroom floor. They were quite small but sharp. I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotel with various chains. I will avoid Thistle in future and would avoid others to avoid Thistle Marble Arch specifically.

Second time we have stayed here. Great hotel for the money we would stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here overnight for the Kylie concert.i have travelled the world and this is far and away the best hotel ever.My daughter is disabled and nothing was too much trouble.Our room was comfortable and spotless with a super bathroom.Breakfast was excellent,something for everyone,check out the lobby host Biram,he`s the best,fabulous personality,and couldn`t do enough for us. We will definitely stay here again.

This was the third time I have stayed in this hotel . Am fully satisfied. With recent renovations, the rooms are now very comfortable, facilities excellent, except for one thing - there is no shaving mirror !

Chose this hotel mainly for the location, for 1 night for a theatre break. The price was right, good deal on room and breakfast included. The room was excellent, much larger than we expected, with a sofa and a large TV, bathroom was spotless, shower really good. Bed was very big and very comfortable. Could not fault the room. Breakfast was self service, everything you could want was available and plenty of it and wellcooked. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely look out for special deals on this hotel and will use it again.

Just had a fabulous weekend in London. Stayed at Thistle Marble, beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast, perfect location and super polite, helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again.

Refurbished and now excellent value - room was spacious and food was good

Beautifully refurbished rooms, light bright furnishings, spotlessly clean. Helpful, efficient and friendly staff in every part of the hotel.

Servec in breakfast was appaulling had to wait 5 minutes for man to com WTO restaurant reception and ask three times for a coffee

breakfast was not a great experience....you shouldn`t have to ask for tea or coffee after being seated: finding clean crockery was not easy and queuing for cooked food was not a pleasant experience. no one actually took a note of our room number!

Excellent with modern and comfortable room with all mod cons would recomend this hotel for those who require good service and value for money.

Overall experience was positive. Only gripe - why have they removed the trouser presses from the rooms?

This was a 2 day break for my granddaughter and boyfriend to get their visa`s from the Americian Embassy to do summer camp. They loved every second of it. The room was fabulous and they were made very welcome by all the staff they met. Thank you so much. I was a little worried about them as we come form a small town in Wales. Again thank you. Thistle Marble Arch is always my hotel of choice when visiting London. Great location and ease of access to Oxford Street, underground, theatreland & tourist attractions. Courteous staff & clean, bright rooms complete the experience.

All new rooms immaculate but fried going on and off kept us awake room freezing air con would not warm room turned it off

I always love staying there its always friendly and the new rooms are wonderful

After moving rooms at the hotels request, the lady on reception promised she would validate our parking for free but when we came to check out we had to pay a massive sixty pounds parking charge fo two nights. When we questioned this we were fobbed off and told they had record of what we had been promised. And most unhelpful

Lovely room, staff outstanding

The welcome was lovely and all the staff were friendly and efficient. They were more than helpful with a couple of questions I had. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, everything you could wish for and replenished all the time. A great stay and so near to the tube and the shops. Couldn`t have asked for more. Thanks

Have just completed a 2 day stay at Thistle and can thoroughly recommend it - easy to find from tube, check in staff frienly and efficient, as were all the other staff we spoke to, nothing was too much trouble - and the breakfast was stunning!

Lovely hotel, if in need of some updating, particularly the bathrooms. Upgraded to a front room and wished we hadn`t. No double glazing so it was cold and nosy, being right on Oxford St! Staff lovely though.

We upgraded by paying a further £50 on top of the £179, I had already paid but was still disappointed with the size of the room (for an executive) but by far the biggest problem we had was the Shower!! The cubicle was large but the pressure of the water was horrendously low, hence you had to run around in there to get wet!! It really was pityful and a big let down for us both. That is why I have only rated Good above.

Would have given excellent, because it is a beautiful hotel but there was a unpleasant smell on our floor and the queue for breakfast was so long we gave up, but it was Christmas so very busy.

Booked this as a last minute stay and was surprised how nice the hotel was for the price I paid. The room was very spacious and had been recently refurbished. the situation of the hotel was just off Oxford street a great hotels for shoppers. It was right next door to Marble Arch tube station Handy for jumping over the town to different locations.. Breakfast was a bit Chaotic as it was very busy and had to wait for a table but the choice of food was excellent. Would use this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay as it was perfect for shopping. The hotel was very good and particularly the excellent staff who were most helpful. The room was quiet at the rear of the hotel. The bathroom could have done with some updating as it was rather tired. The beds were very comfortable. It was a very safe to stay for two females on their own.

We stated at the Thistle for my Husband`s 50th and we treated to complimentary wine and cake in the room, which also turned out to be upgraded. Staff were really lovely and very helpful. Thanks to everyone !!

Overall very good - breakfast rather chaotic on Sunday morning - huge queues so ate out of the hotel. Otherwise everything OK.

From booking in to picking up our suitcase from the secure case room when we departted We founfd all the staff that we came in contact with to be more than helpful to make our stay a comfortable one. They were all polite, Helpful and above all make you feel vey welcome too. Shall book again when visiting London. We enjoyed high tea for my wifes 65th birthday and again the staff couldnt do enough for us when asked
