Hotel is very nice, good food, lovely rooms and plesent staff

The hotel was lovely and clean with modern facilities. It was ideally located with friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was absolutely top notch and delicious.

A LITTLE TOO FAR FROM THE CITY CENTRE, BUT STILL A VERY PLEASANT STAY AND COURTEOUS STAFF MAKE YOU FEEL QUITE WELCOME.

I have no trouble with recommending the grand Canal hotel. My wife and I had a lovely long weekend staying at the Grand Canal and despite attrocious weather at times, the Hotel and the city attractions helped make it a memorable stay.

Our 2 night break was most enjoyable. The hotel was lovely. We arrived early on the Friday morning and let us check in, although we were told check in was after 2pm. It was a short bus ride into town but we did not mind that as it was nice and quiet where we were staying Would definitely go back and would certainly recommend the hotel to others.

Classy, yet homely with modern rooms, marbled bathrooms (lots of toilettries), excellent food - both room service and breakfast were good value for money. Also in a convenient location - 15 mins walk from Grafton street. Would definately stay again.

Was a fab stay at the hotel would recommend to anyone. 20 min walk to temple bar, 10 euros in taxi.

I chose this hotel as my base for my first Dublin Marathon - the hotel was conveniently situated, the room was very comfortable and the food & service could not be faulted.

The service and provision of help and information excellent. The location was right for us - either a pleasant walk into the city or a short taxi journey. Having a Dart rail station so close was also an advantage.

I loved the room and it was clean and everything worked well. Room service very efficient and overall the service was extremely good. However my room had oviously had a smoker in it before me and it was smelly. As I always sleep in a cool room I had to open the window at night but it was very noisy and so I didn`t sleep at all well, which was a pity as otherwise it would have been a very successful stay. I would only stay again if I could have a room facing a different way

The Hotel is lovely. We had a relaxing two night break and will be back in Sept, Oct. The Bar has a relax feel and you can enjoy a good pint of of the black stuff.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast with sensible weekend breakfast times till 11.00am, helpful and friendly staff, not in centre of town so free car parking included but still close enough to walk in 15 minutes.

Had a really enjoyable stag weekend, hotel is very smart and clean with a great bar adjoined. The irish were predictably great hosts! The only slight criticism would be that its a bloody long walk back if your having a night in the Temple bar area, it`s fine in a cab - if you can find one at 4 in the morning!! Otherwise, thoroughly recommend this hotel!!!

Double rooms very comfortable although would be better with air conditioning. At the very least, in warm weather, electric fans should be provided (especially at night) without any extra charge.

Breakfast very good, excellent choice - buffet style. Staff friendly and helpful. Definatly recommend this hotel.

close to RDS COS WE WERE GOING TO ROD STEWART CONCERT WHICH BY THE WAY WAS FABULOUS ! ! ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE LACK OF LIVE MUSIC IN GASWORKS BAR .WOULD DEF GO BACK THO.

we wanted to stay for another night and could not get booked in that was the only disapointment. excellent hospitality providers will be using again soon we hope. thankyou to all the staff your management team should be very porud. food excellent a rarety in todays busy hospitality market thankyou again .

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Right from the first contact we were made to feel at home. Your staff were very helpful anf efficient in carrying out their duties and nothing was too much for them. Hopefully it will not be too long before we sampl your hospitality again.

This hotel is clean and newly refurbished. I didn`t have any problems or concerns and I often stay in Dublin for work. This hotel is better than some of the more central hotels I have stayed in. It is worth the short walk out of the centre. It is a few minutes stroll away from the dart.

Only minor complaint is lack of room service after 9.30pm.

An excellent hotel,helpful staff and well located. Howeve, hot water was only available for one evening of our stay.

there is supposed to be a live dj on friday nite and all there was, was a bit of background music, i thought the hotel was comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and the food was good but every morning your door was knocked really early asking if your room was free to service, not very good for someone away for a relaxing break

The Hotel was easy to find, car parking available at the rear. Reception staff were very helpful and all our needs were met. Next time in Dublin we will use again. Tank you everyone.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were a delight. We had a triple and it was perfect with the three single beds. Very clean and good shower. Away from bustle of city centre but a nice walk of about 25 to Grafton Street. Would definately use this hotel again.

A good hotel that is a little to far from central Dublin and with the very mixed cost of a taxi (the same trip cost us 3 different amounts ) it was a problem. Why not arrange a standard rate with a company for your guests for set journeys. Our room was good ,clean and the lift was the most efficient I`ve ever been in. Breakfast was good and all the staff were excellant especially Bart (i think that was his name).so why not use the restaurant in the evenings ? it would be better than the gasworks.

This was a great hotel the room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was vast and and very filling. The only downside was the fire alarm went off at 5am!!!!!!! Overall excellent and will be excellent for the rugby when Lansdowne road is rebuilt as it is only one stop away on the Dart railway. Will definitely be going back.

We had 3 lovely nights in the hotel Reception staff recommended some lovely places to eat, glad we stayed and we would go back.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff could not be any more helpful, nothing was any bother, even booked us a fantastic Italian and taxi!!

Easy going staff -- I was there at 10 am and they set me up in my room despite their check-in time being 2 pm. However, the hotel itself does have its problems. The most disturbing of them was the sound of mice (rats?) chewing through the walls at 3 am.

The Hotel is very central for the Dublin attractions. The rooms are clean and tidy and the staff more than accomodating. Well worthy of its three stars...A five star hotel!

In the literature it states 15 mins into the city - this was very ambitious and was not as close as the literature stated. The hotel appears to be more for business and very few "holiday makers", but we were not felt unwelcome and enjoyed our stay
