Would have liked breakfast included

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 6 years and we would recommend it to anyone. Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast!!

We love to stay at the Thistle for so many reasons, not only for the hotel its self, we find the entire staff to be most helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable,dining room and bar brilliant, and the location spot on, can not fault it. Thank you.

The rooms are not soundproof, I can hear the neighbours snore. But is very clean

I was checked in by a young man Enrique who gave us a recently refurbished room and was a role model for other hotel staff. Excellent service

Hotel was very beautiful, recently renovated, excellent fittings, very comfortable. Our let down was tv and safe did not work in our room, we were offered to move rooms but we declined due to time restrictions. Management have offered us a discount for a return visit. We were given use of executive lounge, due to being our silver anniversary, this was excellent facility.

An excellent hotel! Friendly staff and very clean room. A perfect location. Made our weekend stay in London even more enjoyable having somewhere gorgeous to stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

All staff was brilliant , couldn`t do enough to make us feel we were special . Beautiful decor,fabulous double room.next time we are in london we will defiantly book this hotel.......thanks for making are stay perfect.

Rooms have all been decorated since last time we stayed there very high standard Brian the concierge very helpful in getting tickets for jersey boys at the last minute well done everyone at the hotel

Stayed for one night with Friends to see a show in the west end. Parked in car park below hotel which meant a 2 minute walk to the hotel. Had requested an early check in, which is never guaranteed, but they did have one of the rooms available so we were able to leave our bags in the room. Asked for the other room to be nearby and when we returned at 11.30pm they had reserved the other room which was 2 away from the 1st one. Used the bar in the hotel and whilst a bit pricey it was what we expected for hotel prices and the service was good. On check out the next morning we had to wait a few minutes but it was coming up to 12 which was check-out time. Check out was simple and when we asked about the 25pct discount on the car park they stamped the ticket and the discount was applied when we paid at the car park. Rooms were well presented and the beds were really comfortable. Overall it was a comfortable stay in a decent hotel and the location was perfect for getting to the West End.

Very clean and there was renovation work going on. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and a very powerful shower. The breakfast at £16.95 each, I felt for what it was, was way too expensive, so we went round the corner to a wetherspoons for food. With a car park in the same building and the shops on Oxford Street, I will be staying here again

Friendly staff and a well fitted out hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Food was of good quality and situation of the hotel was handy for the West End.

Look of interior is appealing . The staff on reception,concierge & luggage were extremely efficient and pleasant. Waitresses for breakfast did not bring the correct order&forgot other requests for missing items. No double glazing on the4th floor so 1 of our party was unable to sleep due to machinery being used on Oxford Street after midnight.

Had one night at this lovely hotel,wish it could have been longer,will be using it again,met young member of staff at service lift,he was busy with his own work but took time to help my friend and I with lift,for no reward,thank you young man will look out for you next time.

Everything was excellent and a very enjoyable stay will certainly use the Thistle again

We were upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe. It was very big and was comfortable however a little dated And tired, but was very clean. The bed was nice and big and extremely comfy. It was our anniversary so the hotel left us a complimentary Bottle of wine, some chocolate cake and a free glass of champagne In their cocktail bar. The location if this hotel is brilliant. We had breakfast included which was buffet style. There Was loads of choice and it was really nice. Overall I thought this was a nice hotel and I would Stay here again.

We received a room upgrade without request. The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and easy access to theatre land. We would definitely use the hotel again.

Stayed one night over Easter for a theatre break. Great location only 5 mins from Marble Arch tube station. Bedroom was comfortable (small-average size) and aircon worked well. But breakfast was a disaster: guests from this 700 room hotel all seemed to descend for breakfast at the same time, and the restaurant simply could not cope. Staff tried hard, but the choice was not really good and all dishes kept running out. Stay again... but choose off-peak.

Stayed here with a friend for one night. The hotel is in a perfect location for shopping on Oxford Street! Our first impressions were outstanding. The doormen were extremely friendly and smell as we entered the reception area was amazing! Check in was quick and easy...but this is where our experience went sour. We were `upgraded` to a executive double. If this was an upgrade i dread to think what our room should have been! There were stains all over the walls and carpets, holes in the flooring, dirt all around the skirting boards, the mirrors were filthy and the window wouldn`t close. It was freezing! After complaining to a couple of people and being offer a heater, we demanded another room. The second room was huge! It was still dated, but at least it was clean. I would probably stay again, but pay extra for one of the renovated rooms rather than the one we were offered last time.

Wow what a beautiful hotel! Being an Agatha Christie fan, I loved the Art Deco style of this hotel. It`s clean, stylishly and tastefully decorated and furnished and has a real air of elegance and luxury. We got a very good deal on Hotels Direct for a standard twin, but on arrival received a complimentary upgrade to an executive twin room which was beautiful and made our stay even more special. I stayed with my eight year old son and the hotel and surrounding area felt safe for a woman and young child staying alone. Superb location for sightseeing. Marble Arch is a two minute walk from the hotel, as is the nearest underground station and the stop for the open top bus tours. The new Harry hill show I Can`t Sing at the Palladium is a very short ride ride away on the underground. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is superb. This is a fantastic hotel and we will stay there again.

We stayed for 1 night to celebrate my birthday. The hotel kindly upgraded us for free and when we arrived in the room there was complimentary wine and cakes, which was just such a lovely touch. The hotel room was lovely, very comfortable bed and bedding. It was also surprisingly quiet for central London. All staff were very helpful, it was great to be welcomed with a big friendly smile. The car park is next door which is very convenient and as a hotel guest you receive a discount. I was very impressed and would certainly stay here again and will recommend to friends/family. Thank you for making my weekend so special!

we really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the staff were really freindly, breakfast was lovely, the only conplaint was the noisey room on front corner of oxford st but having said that the view of the whole street was great

Easy check in - polite staff - only issue we had was despite a check out time of 12 noon we had the chamber maid knocking in the door twice before 11.00 am trying ticket in to clean the room :-(

It`s a nice hotel but don`t drink there so expensive
