Rooms small but clean after all you only go to sleep there.
Good hotel in a quiet location yet very convenient for bus and underground. Local pubs, restaurants and a short walk from Victoria.
Staff were very helpful - hotel was great and very central. Would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again for my next stay in London - which will be very soon!
Room fine and reasonably priced as continental breakfast included. Room was very hot even though we had the door open.Extra milks from reception meant we had enough for night time drink and a morning cuppa. Dining room pleasant. All staff we met were polite and helpful
The personnel are very nice and helpful. I will recommend my friends this gret hotelHernan, USA
Good base for exploring city. Included breakfast had a range of foods. Room a little small and had no air con, but perfectly adequate as we were only looking for a base to stay the night in. Staff helpful and friendly.
The room was clean at all times. Servicestaff were all round very friendly and at all time very helpfull. The breakfast gives you a good choice inkl. with or without a cooked meal. We can recommend the hotel to others.
I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book with them on my next trip.
A good hotel with pleasant and efficient staff. Well located near Victoria mainline and tube stations and with a bus stop a few paces away on a route to the centre of the city. The rooms were well equipped and of a moderate size and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. Would be more than happy to use the hotel again.
Over all very friendly and helpful staff. It was very hot during my stay and the machine ran out of cold water. It would have been useful to have had some jugs of iced water available for the guests.
The only real disappointment was that evening meals were advertised but on this occasion the restaurant was not open in the evenings due, I was told, to "refurbishments".
We stayed for 4 nights and found that the room was always clean and the continental breakfast was great, when we are in the country again and in London we would certainly stay there, thanks...
Bedroom very clean and well appointed. However needed to prop bathroom door open, otherwise no room to sit on toilet comfortably. No air conditioning in cramped space in bathroom. Waitress at breakfast didn`t know what a poached egg was, (advertised in their booklet as being available when full breakfast taken up). Didn`t bother to find a table for people. Bar and restuarant facilities not available although during the week. Said they were refurbishing kitchen. Continental breakfast was adequate and plenty of fruit juice, fruit and rolls etc.
Good price & clean. Rooms not massive but satisfactory. Room was nice and clean and well thought out. Plenty of choice for contenental breakfast. Little noisy if on main road with window open, if hot night. Staff polite, pleasant and helpful Would use this hotel again.
I booked a one night stay at the Days Inn West on 13/6/2010- one month ahead of my stay. I was asked on the booking form if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room. I arrived on-the due date, after a visit to the opera. I was looking forward to a coffee and cigarette.I was shown to the 5th floor ---NON-SMOKING room. The staff were less than caring. It would have been a simple courtesy to send me an e-mail and tell me that there were no smoking rooms available. No excuses please as I am also writing to Head Office .I certainly would NOT recommend Days Inn,after the offhand treatment by night staff, and morning staff. One even had the temerity to say that smoking was not mentioned on the booking form.Lo and behold, when he produced the booking form, the word smoking was there. Not good enough--by a long chalk. Bedroom also very small and small ensuite - overall we were satisfied with area and breakfast very good. Fab time spent in London.
Hotel was comfortable and staff professional, friendly and helpful. One draw back was lack of air conditioning and inability to open a window more than an inch on what was one of the hottest weekends on record. The hotel is very well located for sightseeing and Victoria station is just a 10-15 minutes walk away.
Would have liked more milk cartons for the tea and coffee. Easy access for buses and tubes for sightseeing.
you made my daughters 1st stay in London very special, spotless room, excellent service, great breakfast,no complaints at all, thank you :-)
room size was the bare minimum, no space to walk around bed - double bed pushed up against wall. no double glazing therefore alot of traffic noise late at night and early morning. staff at breakfast unfriendly - would not take much effort to say good morning! coffee at breakfast watery, otherwise breakfast was perfectly acceptable and generous, everything topped up frequently. reception staff polite and helpful.
Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2010, we had a double room and a single room. Both rooms were very clean, beds great, pillows great. The single room toilet/shower room was larger than the double due to the double being next to the lift which reduced the available space, thus small bathroom. That aside, the Hotel was good value, the continental breakfast was OK but limited in choice but always fully stocked. Hotel near to both Victoria Tube/Train station and Pimlico Tube Station. Suggest you use Pimlico as ticket queue hugh at Victoria. I would use hotel again but request a double away from Lift.
hotel was imaculate, beding and towels were fresh every day we stayed,we upgrade to the full english, was worth doing so,if there was a shortage on the display they cooked extra when we requested it and brought it to the table, all staff were evry friendly and polite.Only downside was we would of loved air conditioning, our room was small but had everything we needed, and hey your in walking distance of everything so it doesnt matter. We WILL be using your hotel again.
We had stayed here before and were not disappointed on this return visit. A clean and comfortable room in a hotel conveniently located near to Victoria bus station and both Victoria and Pimlico tube. This hotel will be my first choice for my next visit to London.
Some rooms are a lot better than others. They range from ridiculously small (Room 463) to very acceptable (Room 552). The position, near Victoria Station, is excellent. The staff at reception and breakfasts, which were included for us, were fine.
Value for money as booked through a theatre break. I would of been a little disappointed if I had paid full price for the room as it was a little on the small sidebut it was clean and fine for our 2 night stay as we werent in there for long! - that is the only negative. Also on the website it says Victoria is the nearest tube station but in fact Pimlico is the nearest so try to remember this as it will save you about 10 minutes walk. The positives are that the staff are friendly and when I asked for extra coffee/tea, etc they were very eager to help. The continental breakfast was very nice and fresh. The room was clean and well presented. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Good service, polite staff , clean , good location
The rooms were clean and the Staff helpful and friendly; however, some of the paintwork and the carpets in my room looked worn and tired. This did not detract from a pleasant stay but will need attention soon.
Tiny room, surcharge for cooked breakfast, towels need renewed. But can`t really complain.
