My girlfriend and I stayed at this wonderful hotel which fulfilled all our expectations. The design and style was something quite special and marvellous. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We only stayed for one night but wish we had of stayed longer. We enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast which would have been better if porridge could have been made hot and on request. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and we hope to be back again!

accommodation was good. The room was basic but very clean, and the shower was great. Staff were all welcoming and attentive. Food-wise we had some issues. Bar food was mainly light snacks, so for a dinner guests relied on the dining room. The dinner was buffet style, with a variety of hot food on offer. Unfortunately, since it had been sitting around for some time was not as hot as one would like. Moreover, it had to be served on cold plates, which did not help. The price did not reflect this. Similarly, at breakfast, the same situation applied. My breakfast was at best, barely tepid. I did bring the issue of hot food on cold plates to a staff member. The hotel is clean and modern but does not give value for money

Fantastic hotel. Very modern. Super friendly staff. Tram service directly outside to jump on for a 5 minute hop into the centre.Lovely comfy bed. Very clean. Wonderful shower. I will return in the future!

Bedroom very nice but more seating and tables needed in foyer area to cater the large crowds in hotel. Food could be better but overall a good experience.

Staff very friendly at reception, made feel very welcome.. Bar staff need to attend to customers more promptly for food. Had to go get menu myself and bring order to them. Food lovely. breakfast good but hot food was very cool and toast was just warm soft bread hardly toasted so missed out on full breakfast. All and all not great value for money. Disappointed.

Staff were very helpful when we asked for travel info. We hadn`t included breakfast but got the ?5 a la carte menu with was excellent value. Rooms were very comfortable and the overhead shower was ggreat! Its very easy to get into town with the luas just outside too.

I really enjoyed my stay in the Gibson Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was modern and bright. Dining and bar area very spacious and nice. We were very well looked after. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others. Convenient for airport transfer.

From the handshake welcome to the check out smile and the complimentary jelly beans and bonbons,we enjoyed a fantastic experience in the Gibson Hotel . The style is modern and spacious, the bedrooms beautifully furnished and airy , the large walk in shower was wonderful, everywhere was spotless. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast in our room which arrived at the correct time and with everything we asked for. The only fault we could find were the curtains in our rooms which didn`t pull properly , but this was only a minor irritation. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family and we Will be back .

I stayed at the Gibson Hotel recently with my daughter for The Dublin Horse Show, and I found the hotel to be excellent in every way. The staff were very polite and helpful, the rooms were superb as was the dining. Highly recommended!

next time would want a room with a view of the river, not the building site next door. The staff were first rate and the rooms spacious and comfortable.

Stayed at this hotel in February as my granddaughter was going to concert in the 02. 1st class service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms immaculate and very comfortable. Would return again.

We have stayed at the Gibson Hotel on three occasions, and have always found the staff very helpful and polite. The rooms are always spotless, breakfasts are good, buffet style so you can have as much as you want. The evening menus need changing from time to time. The Coda Restaurant on Sat 6/4/13 was very cold, there appeared to be no heating, this spoilt the meal as we could not stay for a dessert.

Amazing Hotel situated beside the O2 arena. On arrival at the Gibson, the receptionist was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our double room was very well furnished, spacious and had a king size bed :-) Although I personally found the restaurant menu slightly disappointing with the range of dishes, the food was delicious. Would definitely stay again, however next time would reserve a room at the front.

An excellent place to stay for business or lesuire, friendly staff, maintained to A very high standard. Rooms spacious and comfortable!, the bar lounge and Restaurant very plesent, very pleased with the experience.

We hadnt booked restaurant. Ate in place off bar. Extremely busy cos hotel fully booked. Altho order taken promptly took for ever to get our food. Would have taken another 20mins to get dessert so didnt bother. Would have thought they could have planned better and had more staff on duty. Food obviously not individually prepared! Also lot of us wanted to watch rugby match. Only place available was residents lounge which they needed back at 6pm for private party so kicked out. We going to 02 but some people would have liked to have seen the Ulster rugby match. Room fine and v quiet (no noise from other guests!)

Excellent hotel with super friendly staff at reception. I only wish it wasn`t such a short visit as I would liked to have used the facilities of the hotel and relaxed a bit more on the incredible balcony. The only fault I would have had with it and this is nit picking but it would have being nice if they had toothpaste provided for us as we stupidly forgot some. Will be staying there again when I return to DublinRebecca.

Courtious, proffessional, great hotel. I`ve stayed at The Gibson a few times over the past year & every time I stay I just want to stay there again. It provides a stress free enviroment just minutes from the hubub of Dublin centre.
